How Do You Know… The Real Numbers?

Michael the Texan at August 01, 2020 09:13 AM

My mother died last Sunday evening at age 93. She had a UTI that turned into sepsis and spread to cause pneumonia. She also tested positive for Kung Flu, though the doctors emphasized that, if she was Covid-positive, the typical markers weren’t showing up in her blood work and they were absolutely certain that Covid was not a contributing factor.

Guess what my appears on my mother’s death certificate? Yep, Covid.

Mom officially died of the Kung-Flu even though she had no symptoms or biological markers. And now my wife and I are deemed to have probable cases of Kung-Flu according to Texas and Collin County guidelines.

Cogent Current Coronavirus Comments

Vic: McDonald’s is requiring workers and customers both to wear a mask in their

Damn I love this timeline.

“Wear this mask when entering this restaurant specifically to use your fingers to
buy food using the touch keypad of the Visa card reader. When ready to consume
food, remove mask and place it somewhere beside you, then consume food that you
will push into your mouth with your bare fingers. Replace mask with fingers after
you finish eating.”

— And don’t think too hard about the hygiene of the dropouts and criminals
preparing your food. I’m sure they’re changing gloves often when adjusting their
masks or after using the bathroom.

No urgent need to wash hands anymore what with all the gloves, right?

— I guarantee you there is more fecal matter on shopping buggies, cash register
checkout buttons, and office mice / keyboards than there is sneeze-droplets
floating through the air looking for some person without a face shield to attack.

There is poop everywhere
and on everything.

— I won’t fault anyone who is terrified or compromised for storming that vaccine
beach and hoping their arms don’t stop working as a trade off, but it makes
absolutely zero sense for the vast majority of people under 60 to even halfway
consider it.

Herman Cain Dies From Coronavirus at 74

Herman Cain Dies From Coronavirus at 74

Herman Cain — the maverick American business czar and Republican presidential candidate who campaigned for a sweeping tax reform plan called 9-9-9 — died Thursday morning after a monthlong battle with the coronavirus. He was 74.

Cain, who recently joined Newsmax TV and was set to launch a weekly show, died in an Atlanta-area hospital where he had been critically ill for several weeks.

He was admitted on July 1, two days after being diagnosed with COVID-19.…

not known for sure where Cain, chair of Black Voices for Trump, was infected. He had been on a whirlwind travel schedule in June, stopping in multiple cities.…

Cain was a self-made man with an extraordinary backstory — one that made him a towering example of hard work paying off.

He was born Dec. 13, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee and was grew up poor in Atlanta, Georgia, where his father worked three jobs — as janitor, barber, and chauffeur — while his mother toiled as a domestic.

A stellar student who worked hard, Cain graduated from Morehouse College with a mathematics degree in 1967. A year later, he married Gloria Etchison, who he had met when he was a sophomore at Morehouse and she a freshman at Morris Brown College.

Cain went on to earn a master’s in computer science from Purdue University in 1971, and helped develop fire control ballistics for ships and fighter planes for the U.S. Navy.

Next, he joined the Coca-Cola Co. as a systems analyst, and after considerable success, moved to the Pillsbury Co.

After serving as regional vice president of Pillsbury’s Burger King, Cain then took on the biggest challenge of his career as president and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, a national chain teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

In 14 months, he returned Godfather’s to profitability and led his management team to a buyout of the company.

Later, Cain said he could explain his success at Godfather’s Pizza in one word, “marketing.”

Cain, who long held an interest in public policy, became chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1995, serving in the position for 20 months.

In 2019, Trump nominated Cain to Federal Reserve Board. But the nomination drew serious flak from Congress and Cain’s detractors.…

Sean Spicier really KICKS a hornet’s nest

Full transparency. This editor will write about Sean Spicier (the best parody account in the history of Twitter in our humble opinion) as much for her own amusement as for yours, dear reader. There is just something really fun about watching him own Lefties over and over and over again.

And all because they’re either too angry, too emotional, too lazy, or too stupid to look for the little blue check.

Thank Twitter for small favors.

Protests are anything but spontaneous in the US. They’re highly organized with multiple Democrat orgs colluding. …

I promised you this, take a look at the massive protest data. I have this backed up.
Everyone missed this. This is a link to every resistance org and who started them as of the list creation date. It grows every year.

People like Eric Holder, journalists, ACLU, former HRC staff, former Obama staff, Bernie supporters, techies, etc.…

Absolute Proof of Obama OFA coordinating with Indivisible which fights Trumps agenda and is involved in nearly all anti Trump protests. As proven above

We have a past president organizing and fighting a current president. This is sedition…

Teen Vogue Goes Full Marxist

Teen Vogue to Teen Girls: Marx Good, Reagan Bad

Trendy ignorance never had it so good.
Paul Kengor, American Spectator – July 20, 2020
h/t J.J. Sefton’s Morning Report on A♠

So, Teen Vogue goes after Reagan. Oh, well. For a magazine that publishes “A Guide to Anal Sex” for your 13-year-old daughter, ripping the Gipper seems the least of its sins.

But forget Reagan. Teen Vogue recommends an alternative inspiration to young girls: Karl Marx.

That Teen Vogue gem, “Who Is Karl Marx: Meet the Anti-Capitalist Scholar,” informs girls how Marx’s “ideas can still teach us about the past and present.” Among those ideas: “There’s this myth of the free market, but Marx shows very clearly that capitalism emerged through a state of violence.”

You see, it’s capitalism, not communism, that begets violence. Quite a claim for an ideology responsible for the deaths of at least 100 million people in the 20th century alone.

The Conflict Gets Hotter

Farmer, my sister was listening to talk radio when she came and told me just now. According to the radio, the guy was well known for holding up Trump signs in the neighborhood and had not gotten a lot of grief before because everyone liked him. But these days, holding up a Trump sign in a city will get you shot.

The WTMJ website has the story but very little information. No other local station even has the shooting on their website. I’m sure I’ll hear more about it on talk radio (the Journal-Sentinel and TV stations will undoubtedly neglect to mention the “black Trump supporter” angle.
